Natural Nedz is a unique, organic formula made exclusively for Nedz by Forest Farmacy. Many of the commonly used bedding treatments, such as Citronella and Eucalyptus can trigger negative reactions in horses, often using seemingly natural treatments which actually contain preservatives and chemicals which can do more harm than good.
Natural Nedz contains Manuka Oil – a form of tea tree oil organically grown in New Zealand, which has shown no known side effects, Aloe Vera – which helps regenerate cells and aid wound healing as well as offering many benefits to the skin and Cade Oil – which has antiseptic, vulnerary and anti-parasitic properties and has been historically used in the treatment of dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis and other skin conditions for humans as well as to treat scabies, worms and parasites on horses and other animals.
The newest ingredient addition to Natural Nedz is Silver. Silver is used widely in the veterinary world to help kill bacteria, viruses and fungi in wounds, while also encouraging healing. The naturally occurring substance is often used to prevent and treat all manner of skin irritations, including nicks, cuts, rainscald, mud fever, thrush and other external wounds that could or have already become infected.
