Nedz is looking to help one equestrian charity this Christmas by donating a whole pallet of their new Advance bedding and you can help your favourite charity to win it.

The competition will launch on Boxing Day with equine enthusiasts being able to nominate their chosen charity for the prize simply on the Nedz Facebook page. An initial shortlist will then be drawn up with members of the public deciding the final winner via a vote.

Commenting on the competition Lisa from Nedz said “We know how tough this year has been especially for those in the charity sector. Many have missed out on being able to raise vital funds in the usual way whilst also trying to cope with an increased need for their services. At Nedz we have always been keen to support various charities with last year’s Nedz Night raising funds for our local World Horse Welfare centre, and our continued support for the rescue classes at Equifest. This year with neither of these events able to go ahead we wanted to make sure we continued to support charities in other ways.”

Advance is a super absorbent straw pellet which has been developed by Nedz to require minimum mucking out, therefore creating very little waste. On average Advance has been found to provide a 60% to 70% reduction in waste over conventional bedding, and being highly biodegradable it is also better for the environment. Capable of absorbing up to five times its weight in liquid, only a thin layer is needed for even the wettest of horses.

Nedz are excited to be able to supply one charity with a whole pallet of this new innovative bedding which we are sure their horses will love.

Competition will run across Facebook

Members of the public will be asked to suggest their favourite charities

A short list of ten charities will be chosen and published on the Nedz page

Members of the public will then be able to vote for their favourite charity in the shortlist

The length of time for voting will be published on the post

People can vote by ‘liking’ the charities image

Shares and comments do not count towards the vote only likes on the image used in the Nedz voting post

No votes will be counted past the close of the competition

The voting will close 7pm Friday 15th January 2021

The winning charity will receive a pallet of Nedz Advance pellets delivered to their charities property

Nedz holds no responsibility for the use of the bedding within the charity 

No alternative prize is available 

Delivery will be made at an agree suitable time

Nedz reserves the right to amend or change details of the competition
