Victoria Bax - Returning to normality

So after the business of the festive period with all the extra horses I had into work, they have all now left and normality has returned. I had three very happy horses and owners who all tried out their freshly tuned up horses before leaving after their time with me.
The yard has been somewhat quieter which has finally meant I have been able to start to concentrate on my own team of horses again, although sadly one of them has managed to pick up an injury which has resulted in a vet visit and is now currently on box rest.  My Arc Equine unit has been on daily and I have a personalised rehabilitation plan from Ian Thirkell at Arc Equine, so fingers and toes crossed for a successful recovery.
My clinics have been sold out over the last month and lots of fun and learning has occurred, especially at the latest one which was a full weekend of arena cross country.  This clinic takes a huge effort to arrange and set up but thankfully I have a few people who have helped me to pull it off.  It was so popular that I have arranged a second date at the end of February to give others a chance to enjoy the fun, learn and practise their cross country techniques at the same time.
I was rather grateful of the recent freezing weather as this caused my arena to be pretty firm for the week running up to this clinics so I was able to put my DIY skills into action and build some more cross country fences.  I seriously impressed myself with my skills, so I think I might start up a side line business building more!
I have also started clinic at another private venue locally to me which have proved just as popular with the first three being sold out already. Private lessons have been in full swing too with some new clients joining my books.
Alberta's Rose has been out for a jumping lesson recently and she certainly showed she hasn't forgotten a thing over the winter period and seriously jumped out of her skin. I have now registered her with British Showjumping and plan to take her and Crystal Ka out for some weekday Showjumping practise over the next few weeks.
Lastly my British Eventing registration has now been renewed and plans have been made so we are nearly ready to get going again.
Good luck everyone, enjoy yourselves and I wish you all a super successful season.
