Steph tells us about her hopes for Clyde and Rimmer's growing coat...

When we spoke to Steph Croxford she had literally just landed from a family holiday in Mallorca…

“We took the kids away for half term and managed to escape the big storm back home! It was lovely to be sitting in 25 degrees while the news reports were saying how awful the weather was – luckily our place didn’t get hit too badly so the horses were all fine!”

“Before we went away I took Clyde to Vale View for his first every Inter 2 test – he was a very good boy and scored 67.72% - which was a bit of a shock I have to say! The judge was David Trott who is a list 1 judge and used to be one of the international selectors so to be judged by him was fantastic. We are now aiming for the high profile show at Bury Farm in a few weeks and hopefully we can very quietly start thinking about Grand Prix at the end of next year! We will wait and see though – keep your fingers crossed for us!”

“The youngster, Clooney, is going through a naughty phase with myself and his co-owner Julie – his latest dislike was a field of cows! Need I say more? Rimmer is happily getting fluffy in his semi retirement – he gets worked four times a week – twice in the school and twice out hacking – to keep him supple and healthy. I am off to Windmill Farm this weekend for a day of dressage to music clinics and it is full steam ahead preparing for Bury Farm and Clyde now!”
