Mr Hyde is in the ribbons at the Nationals!

It was great to hear from Steph Croxford how well Mr Hyde did at the Winter Dressage Championships! Read on to find out more... "Clyde was a very good boy at the Nationals," Steph says. "The only major hiccup was that on the morning we were due to leave Annabel came in to our room covered from head to toe in spots! She had Chicken Pox! That meant for a slightly uncomfortable night in the lorry for all of us! Well, apart from Ben, who despite being the smallest, manages to take up the most room in the luton as he sleeps like a starfish!"

"We went on the Saturday even though we weren't competing until Sunday at around midday, but we needed to do the arena walk. Although - at 6am the atmosphere is very different to what it is like in the middle of the day. The row of shops were all silent and closed up first thing but by the time we went in the shops were bustling and people were walking up and down clattering! Despite this Clyde totally surprised us and was a very good boy! He scored over 69% which meant we were 10th and got a rosette!"

"Clyde has also been invited to go forward to the selection day of the Equine Pathway again, you can see his video submission by looking at it here on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yi0vfWQ3B0w) fingers crossed they think he is good enough! In other news, Ancy is now up for sale so we have registered her with British Dressage and she has been out competing with some very respectable 65% scores at Novice level."

"And Mr P is going to be very excited later this week as he gets his first outing since his injury! We are doing a Pick Your Own test at Fieldhouse, just to get him out before we hopefully do Somerford Premier League later in the month. I think it will be a miracle if I get round in one piece as he is feeling very, very well! Wish us luck!"
