Mary & Emily King - feeling the ups and downs

It has certainly been a month of ups and downs for the 'King' team as they have been out competing.
Billy, Bobby and Joey have now finished their spring campaign having completed a couple more novice one-day events through May. Billy also completed his first CCI* at Tattersalls.
All three are turning out to be very nice horses - each of them have their own strengths and weaknesses, but generally I am thrilled to bits with their progress. They are having 3 weeks holiday now, then pick up for Chepstow and the lovely Barbury HTs at the beginning of July.
Through May, Emily has had some real tastes of the ups and downs that you get in this sport, with disappointments at Chatsworth and Bramham. But Tattersalls was great fun, as always, and Emily was very pleased with Cooley Currency who completed his first CCI**, he still has a lot of improving but potentially is very exciting.
Emily had a great result at Houghton Hall CCIu21** with Jane Del Missier's lovely 8yr old Dargun, finishing 2nd  in the Under 21 National Champs, and subsequently they have been longlisted for the Young Rider European Champs in Italy in September - very exciting!
Tess has had a gorgeous filly foal by Cevin Z, and I'm hoping to do embryo transfers with her and Rosie over the next few weeks using the stallions Chilli Morning and the lovely French stallion Upsilon.
We have owners looking to buy 2 or 3 horses potentially top class young horses, but they are hard to find. We have been looking hard, but haven't found what we want yet. We like horses with plenty of TB blood, that really move and jump. If anybody has heard or knows of one please get in touch!
