Geoff tells us about recent results and gets roped in to a charity calendar...

Geoff has just returned from ten days of teaching in Denmark so we pinned him down and found out how the horses have been going at recent shows. "Upper Cut won the big class at Bolesworth on the second day and Apollo Star went really well but just had an unlucky four faults in the Grand Prix - the weather that weekend was terrible, but I did watch the round back on Horse & Country TV and it showed that he was jumping really well so I was pleased with him. We then went to the Royal Highland where Apollo Star was 2nd in the big class on the first day and 3rd on the second class. After that it was to Southview International where Upper Cut was 6th in the World Ranking class on the first day, 3rd on the second day and then had an unlucky 4 faults in the Grand Prix. Balloon and Apollo Star jumped well in their classes as well. It was the youngsters turn next at Southview and they all went well."

"We now have a busy time with a show on Wednesday, then Rosinus will be back jumping at Southview for a warm up, then I will take all the Grade A's to Anglesey. After that it is Shrewsbury Flower Show and then a show in Doncaster mid August. The next stop will be two shows in Auberge in France and that is as far as we have got!" We couldn't help but giggle when Geoff told us that he has also been roped in to doing a nude calendar for charity. "I have been told that plenty of names have agreed to do it including the Whitakers, however noone has mentioned it to me so I may be being set up! All will NOT be revealed soon!"
