Geoff is placed in the Hickstead Derby and makes his Olympic team predictions!

Following on from spending several months competing around Europe, Geoff has spent virtually a whole month in the UK! We caught up with him to find out what has been going on! "We went to the Bolesworth Classic from 1st - 4th June, where Apollo Star won a class and a new stallion, owned by Nina Barbour, called Lord Luis won the Small Grand Prix - he is definitely a horse to watch for the future and has very good breeding."

"Then it was off to Hickstead for the British Jumping Derby meeting, Upper Cut was third in the International Class on Thursday and then 7th in the Derby Trial. He then jumped well in the Carpetright Derby and came equal 9th - it was a great show and despite the rain the ground in the main arena was absolutely perfect."

Over the next few weeks Geoff will be competing at Southview and then the Great Yorkshire Show, before going to Inglistone in Glasgow towards the middle of the month, then it is Arena UK and after that he will be supporting Team GB at the Olympic Games. His prediction of Nick Skelton, Ben Maher, Scott Brash and Peter Charles being picked to represent Great Britain at the Olympics was spot on!
