Victoria Bax - Getting ready for the season ahead

Victoria Bax in counting down the days until her 2016 season begins in earnest!
"My first event entries are in and we are now T minus 18 days until my first event of the 2016 season and to say I'm excited would be an under statement.  I have been looking through photos and videos from last season and mentally prepping myself so I'm ready to go very soon.  On top of that I have recently been to a fabulous workshop run by Charlie Unwin, a performance coach for the British Team.  He was hugely inspiring and thought provoking so hopefully I can take away what he has taught and win win win this year!"

Hitting the slopes with the King's

Emily King reflects on her time with Marcus Ehning in Germany and looks forward to 2016

Wow what a fantastic winter I've had! The two months I spent out in Germany with Marcus Ehning were two of the most interesting and informative months of my life. I was lucky enough to take Currant (Cooley Currency) out with me, so I could receive training on him as well as being trained as a rider. Marcus was a phenomenal teacher, but as well as the lessons, just day-to-day riding alongside him and watching him work his horses was fascinating (he is pretty much the Lionel Messi of the equestrian world!). Subconsciously you learn so much from watching top riders. All the little things which you aren’t necessarily taught from a young age can be the things which determine world class riders from the general professional field. So that was something which I will really treasure.

Full Steam Ahead For Victoria Bax

We caught up with Victoria Bax who is full steam ahead with her training regime!

"January is always the months where things really get a kick start as we are now only T minus 6 weeks or so now until the eventing season starts so it is definitely Game On with the training regime for my team. With the weather being so mild albeit rather wet, atleast my arena has not been frozen so flat and jump training has been in full swing."
